Fairytales Dragons 2

This piece and its partner ( mattesworks.deviantart.com/art… ) were going to be simple works for my bedroom. Turns out I spent so much time on them, and I’m so happy about the way they turned out, I thought I may as well post them. They were inspired by an artist’s work I saw on deviant art in the past.
This one is based on the scary side of fairytales. I used a lot of classic villains, battles and stories. All of the imagery in the piece is totally original, with the exception of the Maleficent dragon. I just love her too much to not have included her. I did my own versions of the Queen of Hearts, Jekyll and Hyde, and the wicked witch. I also added other imagery like a “big bad wolf” and pirate flag.
